During the event we will provide assistance for the participants. A technical and cultural support team will be available throughout the event, which will include transportation for cultural events and information regarding suggested activities connected to the event. Assistance will also be available for external activities, but it should be noted that any incidental costs, connected to such activities, are not included in the registration.
1- Important information for intercontinental travelers:
If you are arriving in Brazil from an intercontinental trip, chances are you will arrive either at Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), in São Paulo, or Galeão International Airport (GIG), in Rio de Janeiro and take a connecting flight to Florianópolis. Please note that sometimes airlines companies will try to sell ticket packages that will make you change from an international to regional airport in Rio de Janeiro (e.g. Santos Dumont) and São Paulo (e.g. Congonhas or Campinas), in order to reach Florianópolis. You should avoid this kind of package. Traffic in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo is highly unpredictable, and you have a high chance of missing your connecting flight if you have to change airports.
2- At Florianópolis: Transfer from the airport:
Costão do Santinho Resort is located in the northern part of Florianópolis’ Island, Santa Catarina, 47 km from Florianópolis / SC International Airport (Hercílio Luz). Upon arrival at the Florianopolis International Airport / SC (Hercílio Luz) the transfer to Costão do Santinho Resort will take around one hour and can be done by the Tourism Agency SANTA & BELLA Turismo Receptivo, Uber or Taxi. You can contact the support team in order to set up your preferred transfer method.

4 Taxi Terminal at Florianópolis International Airport / SC (Hercílio Luz)
Arriving on the ground floor, left side of the lobby (next to the arrivals hall) of Florianópolis International Airport, passengers can go to the Aerotáxi service desk, open 24 hours a day, and purchase their voucher in advance. Please do not trust “special” taxi services advertised around the airport.

5 Using Uber or other services:
Upon arriving at the Airport, you may connect your smartphone to the “Free WiFi Floripa Airport”, and request the Uber service using your App. The Uber will pick you up close to the Taxi stand. An average trip from the airport to the Resort, in a standard Uber, under an average , is, at local currency, around R$ 70,00 (US$13.06).
6 For larger groups: SANTA & BELLA Turismo Receptivo
If you are travelling with a larger group and wish to contract a private transfer service, please contact our support team and we will help you with the liasons. In any case, we will use the services of SANTA & BELLA Turismo Receptive (costao@santaebella.com.br) for private transfers of larger groups.
7. Exchange agency
We encourage guests to arrive in Brazil with US dollars in cash and avoid exchanging money at the airport, as you will probably pay extra in exchange services within the airport. However, should you need to exchange currency at your arrival, you should look for the exchange rate before travelling and compare it with the agency at the airport.

8-Important information for the visitors:
Visa
- Brazil adopts a reciprocity-based policy. This means that nationals of countries which require visas of Brazilian citizens for the entry into their territories will also need a visa to travel to Brazil. Otherwise, all you need is a valid passport and migration documents. Please contact the local Brazilian Embassy for more details regarding vaccine requirements at the entry, as well as other guidelines. Should you need help with any issue regarding your visa, please contact our team and we will be happy to provide you with information.
- Usually, visitor visa will be granted to nationals of another country who travels to Brazil for length of stays up to ninety days, without any intention of immigration or exercise of paid activity, except as a daily allowance, allowance, fee, pro-labore or other travel expenses. Visitor visas may be granted for travel for the purposes of tourism, business, transit, artistic or sporting activities, study, voluntary work, or for participation in conferences, seminars, congresses or meetings, among other activities, - provided that they do not there is receipt of remuneration in Brazil and the stay does not exceed ninety days.
